Broker's Comments
The pros: Well liked design which is nippy and seaworthy, new mast and sails, new engine 2002.
The cons: Deck and cockpit could do with a re paint and the interior needs attention.
Would suit: capable DIYer to improve the interior and a keen club cruiser/racer.
These Sadlers were a revelation in 1974 were they first appeared and set the scene for many modern pocket cruiser/racers. They are a derivative of the Contessa 26, which in its self has its roots in the Folkboat.
This particular Sadler has had a lot of money spent on the important bits and with some attention to the interior, will make a splendid family yacht.
This boat has been viewed and photographed by Steven of Boatshed Falmouth.
