For sale is this Dutch built 4.8m fishing boat complete with 2017 Nicholson trailer and 30hp Honda tiller outboard. Additional specification includes a 12v/54lb thrust Minn Kota trolling motor, two comfortable seats, fuel locker, rod locker, front and side lockers plus lots of fishing equipment.
Bought new from the manufacturer in The Netherlands in 2006, (the Minn Kota was fitted new about 2 years later). This boat has been used regularly for fishing the big Irish lakes (Derg, Deeravara), Lake Windermere and the Norfolk Broads. It has never been used on salt water and used for only a few weeks each year.
The engine has been serviced regularly, until she was laid up, with service records available. The 12v starter battery, which also powers the fish finder, is kept on a float charger. The engine has always been run on stabilised unleaded fuel.
The Minn Kota with autopilot was imported directly from the USA and fitted in 2010. It was converted to remote control about 5 years later. Two remotes are included. This setup is perfect for trolling big waters, and the Minn Kota is very useful for positioning on smaller waters such as the Norfolk Broads. The Minn Kota is powered by a 110Ah leisure battery which was replaced in 2018. The battery is kept on a float charger.
The Nicholson trailer was new in 2017.
