Commentaires du Broker
What impressed me initially as I first approached this vessel on the hard standing, was the shine reflecting off of her GRP hull and new coat of antifoul. Then, having walked around her I was also impressed at her overall condition and could see that the current owner certainly appears to have maintained her very well.
The Prout Event 34 is highly regarded by many as one of the finest catamarans of her age. And with many still transiting the globe they are testament to their build quality and longevity as being super boats. Many of them also being used as Blue Water cruisers and liveaboards given their large accommodation space afforded due to their excellent design.
Stepping aboard, my first impression was simply the huge amount of available deck space on these extremely well designed catamarans on both the stern and the bow area. She also benefits from a lovely large deep cockpit with an abundance of space, lots of storage lockers and a really nice helming position.
Stepping through the large companionway from the cockpit into the saloon area I was very impressed again at the available space and headroom. There is ample seating and an exceptionally large saloon table to accommodate and entertain friends and family.
Then stepping down into the galley area on the starboard side of the boat again gives masses of headroom and a lots of workspace and stowage with good visibility from the large window. Aft of the galley is a very large double berth and forward of the galley is a large single berth, both with lots of natural daylight streaming through.
Stepping up and over onto the port side of the boat there is a very large nav station again with lots of workspace for charts etc. There is also plenty of stowage compartments to hand. Forward of the nav station is a large heads compartment with a sink and shower with again plenty of head height and aft of the nav station is a again a very large double berth both with plenty of natural daylight streaming though the large windows.
The owner informed me that he estimates that he has invested considerable time and expense on extras and improvements on this boat in the relatively short time he has owned her. These include: removal of all the old headlining’s and having them replaced professionally, the replacement of all of the winches, a new Eberspacher heater and controller, calorifier, fridge, LED lighting throughout, and many other additions too numerous to mention here but please check out the listing for full details.
I don’t think she’ll be hanging around for too long so please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would like to book a viewing.
