Broker's Comments
Boatshed London are pleased to offer this 42' Motor Launch for sale with Limehouse residential mooring.
Originally built in 1962 by Woodnutts, the boat has been recently used as a liveaboard boat that has two cabins, bright and airy living space and outside areas too.
It has a steel hull with wooden decks and superstructure and a 2012 survey is available to view. The boat was last dry docked in 2014 for antifouling.
The aft cabin has a good sized double bed and ensuite heads although the current owners are using this room as extra storage and making use of the marina facilities for showering etc.
The boat has been well maintained, which is always necessary when wood is involved, and the diesel engines are running and the leisure batteries were replaced in May 2018. The decks were replaced in 2011 and two new water tanks were installed at the same time,
The residential mooring at Limehouse is fully transferable on payment of a 5% transfer fee. A boat of this beam provides some good advantages over a narrowboat and is worth considering with outdoor space and two cabins. Current mooring fees are £7,600 p.a.
Limehouse is extremely popular because of its excellent transport links and local amenities around the marina. Viewing is highly recommended.

Excellent layout. Good size and condition. A real pity about the mooring palaver.
