Lifestyle & Use
This 30 ft catamaran is designed for relaxed sailing, with comfort on board as a top priority. Ideal for couples or a family with young children. Perfect for coastal sailing or island hopping. Eco-sensitive, low maintenance and low marina costs. With a beam of just 3.44 metres, this unique catamaran fits comfortably into the same marina berth as a typical 36 to 40 ft. monohull.Unique Features
This catamaran is equipped with a single furling sail with the mast positioned further aft to create good all-round sailing performance and makes sailing easier and much more relaxed. With many features similar to larger luxury catamarans, comfort on board is a top priority. Twin electric motors are not just eco-friendly; they are whisper quiet, enhancing quality of life on board. The hulls are demountable from the cabin, so the entire yacht fits neatly into two standard 40 ft containers to be shipped safely and securely.Design & Build
Designed by the award winning team at Du Toit Yacht design and built by HopYacht (Pty) Limited in South Africa, this yacht is built to CE certification standards. Motors, electrics, batteries, plus fresh, grey and black water tanks all accommodated in the hulls. This optimises living space in the cockpit and cabin areas. Being all on one level and with sliding cockpit and cabin doors, there is a natural flow of air throughout the yacht. The helm station has 360-degree visibility and makes docking easy, especially with twin electric motors equipped with finger tip control throttles.Prices & Process
The ready to sail price for the standard HopYacht 30 is €188 600. The build period is 4.5 months. A range of options are available, enabling you to add your own personal touches and personality to the boat. The manufacturer is happy to discuss bespoke items and add equipment and finishes that create the perfect fit with your requirements.Extra Details
