Propulsion is provided by the original Nissan LD50 with 1706.9 hours turning a 1.5" shaft and an 18"x8" RH 3-blade propeller. The engine is located in a sound enclosure located within a machinery space / engine room. This engine provides for efficient cruising (1.5 gal/hr at 5 knots) -- with 6 knots possible. The engine appears clean and well maintained and was recently upgraded with a new stainless exhaust riser and a rebuilt heat exchanger. The engine is equipped with a 100 amp Balmar alternator for charging.

The house battery bank consists of four new AGM (6V) batteries (each pair wired in a series for 12V). A separate flooded lead acid 12V deep cycle / start battery is used for starting the engine.

Chain steering linkage from helm/autopilot to rudder with two turns of the helm from lock to lock.

The 30 amp shore power connection is configured with an ELCI. A PropMariner ProSafe FS30 galvanic isolator protects against galvanic corrosion.

120V power while underway and battery charging while plugged into shore power is provided the Heart Interface inverter/charger.

Two 5-gallon propane tanks fuel the cooktop and cabin heater.

32' is the length for moorage purposes.

This vessel was built as a retirement project by Jim Enoch, a professional shipwright from Gig Harbor, and there have only been 3 owners since she was built in 1986.

The vessel's hull is of steel construction and the cabin / house structure is wood with fiberglass sheathing. All surfaces are well coated and protected with paint. Steel rails are welded to the deck. The mast is of stainless steel construction. A stainless steel boom has been removed, to reduce weight.

The swim step is constructed from wood and has an integrated outboard mount for a backup means of propulsion.

Steel fuel tanks are located in the engine compartment, the port tank holds 30 gallons, and the starboard tank holds 45 gallons. The freshwater tank (poly), also located in the engine compartment holds 24 gallons and the holding tank (poly) holds ~15 gallons.

Waterline Boats / Boatshed did not independently verify capacities and measures, which are reported from seller-provided information and/or literature.

Step aboard this vessel amidships and enter the fully enclosed cockpit. The cockpit on this vessel is large and takes about a third of the length of the vessel. The cockpit has a hard top, constructed from wood.

A deck hatch in the cockpit opens to the engine room, and at the forward end of the cockpit side decks, protected by rails, lead to the foredeck, and a door opens into a saloon.

The saloon table lies to port, with seating for a few crew. The upholstered seats have storage beneath (the aft most seat houses a propane locker). The table converts into a double berth for sleeping guests. Opposite of the saloon are three big drawers and a storage cabinet. This boat has a considerable amount of storage throughout. The helm station is forward and to starboard, with the helm seat just across from the saloon table. A hatch above the helm station can be opened for ventilation and additional light.

Three steps lead forward from the saloon into a forward cabin. The forward cabin has a galley to port. The galley is outfitted with a stainless steel sink and two-burner propane stove. A good amount of storage is located beneath the galley counter. Larger items can be stowed in the forepeak or in the hanging locker opposite the galley. The head compartment is also located across from the galley. This compartment contains a new Jabsco manual marine toilet. Opening portlights and an overhead hatch ventilate the forward cabin.

A queen-sized berth is situated athwartship and beneath the saloon deck. The single berth is at the starboard bow of the foreword cabin.

Heating is provided by a built-in propane direct vent cabin heater.
