Boatshed Dartmouth are delighted to offer for sale this superb Contessa 34. The Contessa 34 is the cruising version of the very successful Contessa 34OOD, but with a longer and shallower keel and skeg hung rudder which makes for a fast comfortable cruser/racer. There were three accommodation options, this one being the ‘C’ layout option having a practical boatswain’s walk-in locker to port aft accessed via the galley area. I was impressed by the overall presentation of this yacht – it was clear that the owner has carried out many improvements to a high standard and good quality equipment. Of particular note is the new Volvo engine installed in 2009 (with a new sail drive) and the new standing rigging in 2009. The navigation equipment is very impressive with the 15” screen with radar overlay on the charts and linked to the Autohelm. If you are looking for a fully equipped, comfortable 34 footer then this is the boat for you. Only about twenty of the cruiser configuration were built so they rarely come on the market and go quickly so do not hesitate to book your appointment to view her with Boatshed Dartmouth broker, Paul Singer.
