Broker's Comments
Boatshed Dartmouth are delighted to offer for sale a really stunning classic day boat – the North Quay 17. It would appear not many of these were built which is a shame as they are really lovely looking family day boats. The easily handled gaff sloop rig ensures her classic lines and traditional heritage is upheld. She draws on yacht designs of the past with a hull form featuring a jaunty sheer which not only keeps the crew dry with the fine ends enhancing her easily driven shape. There is ample buoyancy and she is easily trailed with the bow sprit ‘unplugging’ and the mast being the same length as the hull. She is now reluctantly for sale and looking for another family to enjoy her ample cockpit and gracious looks. Appointments to view should be booked in advance with your Boatshed Dartmouth broker, Paul Singer
