Broker's Comments
Surprisingly spacious inside, this little boat is the obvious choice for safe, steady coastal exploration. “Creek crawling anyone?” Bilge keels, solid, well looked after, not much needs doing really.
The reconditioned engine was fitted in 2006, and according to the engineer, she is “new from ignition key to propeller” Everything was removed and replaced, even the shaft, the cutlass bearing, the whole shooting match.
I have just been aboard, she although she hasn’t been used for a month or two she is as dry as a bone and smelling sweet, a lovely cosy little boat.
Her sails and spars are not new, her design is by no means new, but I like the feel of this boat, I get the feeling she is a friendly soul, looking for a new family to bring her back to life. She proves she is proper seaboat because she has a snug quarter-berth - an excellent place to catch forty winks, no matter which tack you are on!
The owners of this boat have sailed her around the Solent area for the past 10 years or so, so she’s a familiar sight in all the usual places – maybe it’ll be you at the helm next time she goes to sea?
