Broker's Comments

Colvic were one of the biggest UK moulders of GRP hulls in the 1970s and 80s, producing heavy, solid boats in lots of shapes and sizes. The Colvic Countess 35, was similar to the 33 but with an extended transom giving her a decent bathing platform.

Colvic only moulded the hull, the fit out we have as by the owner, but I have to say that I'm sure that owner must have been a shipwright or similar as the quality is as good as any I've seen.

On deck she feels very safe and secure, easy to move around and nice and tidy. Down below she really is Tardis-like; that beamy deep round hull means lots of headroom and a well thought out layout makes her feel like a much bigger boat than she is.

Her timber below is lovely. She's dry and clean and looks like she's been really well taken care of. Some sails look unused, despite being her original and she has lots of useful cruising equipment aboard which is all included. There is a tender and outboard too so you shouldn't want for much to get out on the water.
