In October 2014 I contacted BoatShedPoole regarding a Cornish Crabber Yawl, they had for sale on their site. I rapidly arranged a viewing of the boat with Ian Welsh. He was very helpful and thoroughly professional. Regarding a couple of my questions he did not know the answers to he quickly found out the answers. Jane Wilkins has also been a point of email contact, she too has been very helpful throughout the process. Both Jane and Ian were easy to contact and responded very quickly. I seem to recall I made an offer on the same day as viewing the boat. From my point of view an excellent price was agreed with the vendor, negotiated by Ian, within a short space of time. The sale was subject to survey. All the arrangements for the surveyor were handled efficiently. Ian negotiated a reduction in the price to my satisfaction, based on the survey. He then was very helpful in advising and supporting me to arrange the stepping of the masts, securing her for transport to North Devon etc. I would thoroughly recommend BoatShedPoole to other people looking to buy a boat.

Paul A Thoroughly good service" I recently contacted Paul Watson of Boatshed Yorkshire about a Sealine flybridge that he had on brokerage. Paul was very knowledgeable about the particular boat, its specifications and condition, right from the off. He was punctual and in fact early for our meet at the boat, where he spent over half the day looking around the boat with me, making sure that all the bases were covered. On the day we were unable to run the engines sadly, so Paul agreed to make a further visit to the boat in order to video call me and show me the engines running, saving me a five hour drive up. Paul then organised the hoist to transport and made all the arrangement for the boat to leave the yard. I have to say that this has been the smoothest boat purchase that I have made to date, all thanks to Paul.

Keith, BIG Thankyou for selling The Phantom for me, I always felt that if I could get her back to the Uk she would sell....However, only in my wildest dreams did I hope she would sell so quickly. Having spent the best part of my life in SALES, I know just how demanding the job can be, satisfying the needs of one's vendors whilst also catering to the often demanding requests of purchasers... manufacturing a deal and then holding it all together, takes a rare skill, a deal of effort and patience, and is often time demanding and frustrating. Vendor's and purchaser's rarely see this aspect of the sale process, and simply accept a sale or purchase as a "fait accompli" with not much recognition or credit conferred on us "the Agent" that actually brokered the sale. So ONCE again Thankyou for all your efforts on my behalf...
